The Valentino family is the most famous family surname in Italy. Since it's founding in Napoli, the family has found themselves pushing away from the norms of Rome and instead found their ancestral home in Capri, Italy. Traditionally their family is vert tight knit and always have "family first" ideology that everyone inherits. Her father Lorenzo Valentino is currently the Minister of Magic for Italy and his wife Arianna the first lady and a writer in her own right.

Careers come and go when it comes to their family but what has remained is that the men in their family involve themselves in politics and the women are naturally beautiful wives. Aria herself is one of three. Her older sister Isabella was the first to leave the nest. She was tall, lithe and a bit dim. Still she happily lives in Spain. Aria is the middle child with her brother Jules being born but 11 minutes after her. Being fraternal twins means that there is a deep love that no one can break.
