Welcome Message & Guide

Hello, and welcome to FloB! We're glad you decided to pop by; hopefully, you decide to stay and write with us.

We are a low-commitment, multi-fandom RP site for all writers, no matter the level of experience.

While some of you may be experienced RPers or know how to navigate a forum site like this, we also know many of you don't. When we first started, we were also confused, not knowing where to go or what to do. We have, therefore, decided to write a quick step-by-step guide for creating an account and RPing on FloB, since we may work slightly differently than other RP sites.


Step 1: Create an account, if you haven't already. Your account will be your character's first and last name, with a space. ('Ivy Richardson', for example.)

The alias space is for your real name, or whatever you want to go by. Some choose their real first name (Melanie, for example), some use a nickname (like Lyd, or Maddie), and others use an alias.


Step 2 (optional) : We have a F.A.Q page should you need it.


Step 3: Please read the site rules as well as the role playing rules, which can be found by clicking on their respective names.

Step 4: Pick a fandom (or fandoms!) you wish to RP in and find the template sheet for that respective fandom here. Fill it in, post it, and wait to be approved. After approval, you can go ahead and start writing.

Step 5: That's it! You're free to post. If you don't know how to, or need further help, we have a selection of guides for your convenience.

Step 6 (optional but recommended) : At the bottom of the home page, after logging into your account, there is a chatbox. This is a great place to hang-out and meet the other writers, as well as to plot. We'd love to meet you, so come say hi!


That's pretty much it. If you have any questions, you can always catch someone in the chatbox or PM an admin. There is (as stated above) also the questions section. We look forward to having you and writing with you!
